Egypt has scrapped visa-on-arrival fees for travellers from the UK, US and European Union, allowing stays of 30–90 days without advance paperwork. The reform replaces the US$25 fee and supports Cairo’s target of 30 million annual visitors by 2030. Analysts project a 10–15% rise in Western arrivals by 2026.
