Transport for London is progressing plans for the West London Orbital, repurposing the Dudding Hill Loop to connect Hendon and Hounslow via existing rail infrastructure. The project could unlock 15,800 homes and 22,000 jobs, reduce Acton–Cricklewood travel times to 16 minutes, and integrate with HS2 and the Elizabeth Line.
