South Africa’s low-cost carrier Lift Airlines has become an official member of the International Air Transport Association, receiving IATA code GE. The milestone strengthens its operational credibility and opens access to new global markets. The airline, currently serving major domestic routes, has applied to launch international flights to Mauritius and Réunion, supporting regional connectivity, tourism growth, and more flexible travel options across Southern Africa.
