Singapore Airlines is in talks with Thai aviation authorities to launch nonstop flights between Singapore and Chiang Mai. If approved, Chiang Mai would become the airline’s third destination in Thailand after Bangkok and Phuket. The carrier is also increasing capacity on existing Bangkok and Phuket routes, aiming to improve regional connectivity and support rising leisure travel demand to Thailand.
