Singapore has joined a growing list of destinations easing entry for Indian passport holders who possess a valid Japan visa. The move allows Indian travellers to access Singapore under the Visa Free Transit Facility for up to 96 hours, subject to onward travel conditions. Countries such as Mexico, Philippines, Taiwan, Georgia, Montenegro, and the UAE have adopted similar measures, recognising Japan’s strict visa screening as a trusted benchmark that simplifies global travel for Indian citizens.
