The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) has submitted key fiscal recommendations ahead of the Union Budget 2026–27 to strengthen India’s tourism infrastructure. Proposals include granting industry status to hospitality, rationalising GST, improving access to credit, and offering incentives for sustainable tourism. The measures aim to boost investment, job creation, and India’s competitiveness as a global tourism destination.
