Odisha has unveiled its Tourism Policy 2026 to strengthen the state’s hospitality sector through new investment incentives. The policy lowers entry barriers for hotels, encourages boutique and eco-resort development, and introduces capital subsidies for large tourism projects. Special Tourism Zones have been identified to promote eco-tourism and regional growth. Officials say the policy aims to attract domestic and international investors, expand accommodation capacity, generate employment, and position Odisha as a competitive and sustainable tourism destination in India.
