Indian Railways has launched the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train, introducing a new standard for overnight travel in India. Operating initially between Guwahati and Howrah, the train features modern sleeper coaches, advanced suspension systems, enhanced safety technology, and a design speed of up to 180 kmph. With improved comfort, faster journey times, and upgraded onboard amenities, the service aims to redefine long-distance rail travel while strengthening connectivity across eastern and northeastern regions.
