South Carolina’s historic Hotel Aiken is officially set for a major comeback as the Aiken City Council approves Oliver Hospitality Group to redevelop the landmark into a boutique hotel. The project includes 70–80 luxury rooms, new retail spaces, residences, and a 210-vehicle parking garage, transforming downtown into a vibrant hub. With over USD 40 million in expected private investment, the revived Hotel Aiken aims to boost tourism and restore the city’s historic charm.
