United Airlines has introduced International Remote Baggage Screening, eliminating the need for passengers to reclaim and recheck luggage during international layovers. First tested on the Sydney–San Francisco route, the system transfers bags directly to connecting flights while maintaining security through CBP and TSA. This saves travelers up to 45 minutes and reduces missed connections. United plans to expand the program, aiming to simplify and speed up international journeys for global passengers.
