Delta Airlines has partnered with Netherlands-based Maeve Aerospace to design the MJ 500, a hybrid-electric regional jet set to debut by 2032. The aircraft, seating up to 100 passengers, will cut fuel use and emissions by 40%, supporting Delta’s goal of net-zero emissions by 2050. This collaboration, part of Delta’s Sustainable Skies Lab, marks a step toward eco-friendly aviation, offering airlines cleaner, cost-efficient solutions for regional travel.
