India’s first bullet train project between Mumbai and Ahmedabad has reached a new milestone with the installation of its second 100-meter steel span over NH-48 near Nadiad, Gujarat. Part of a 508-kilometer high-speed corridor, the bridge highlights the project’s scale and engineering complexity, with 28 steel bridges planned in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Once complete, the train will cut travel time to under two hours, marking a new era in Indian mobility.
