Norway has launched a climate-neutral coastal fleet, leading the world in zero-emission shipping with biogas and battery-powered technology. A partnership between HAV Group and Havila Voyages, the project will transform existing vessels and introduce new builds for the Bergen–Kirkenes route. A test voyage this fall will showcase its feasibility. This initiative aligns with Norway’s environmental goals, strengthens green innovation, and sets a benchmark for sustainable maritime transport globally.
