Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas, the second vessel in its Icon class, has embarked on its maiden cruise from Port Canaveral. Delivered in July by Meyer Turku, the 250,800-ton ship will sail to the Bahamas, Mexico, Honduras, and the Caribbean, including stops at Royal Caribbean’s private island, CocoCay. With year-round itineraries planned through 2027, the ship is expected to significantly boost tourism across the Caribbean and strengthen regional economies.
