Thiruvananthapuram Airport is in talks to launch direct flights to Thailand and Vietnam, aiming to cut long travel times and meet rising demand. These routes will eliminate current layovers and enhance tourism, trade, and connectivity across Southeast Asia. As passenger numbers are expected to soar by 2030 and beyond, the airport is also upgrading infrastructure to support international traffic and strengthen its role as a key regional travel hub.
