The Hotel Association of India (HAI) has partnered with Maharashtra’s Tourism Department to boost hotel sector growth. In a meeting with Principal Secretary Dr. Atul Patne, HAI proposed reforms including reduced electricity tariffs, simplified licensing, and enhanced fiscal incentives. The discussions focused on driving investment, sustainability, and employment in the state’s hospitality industry. Both parties expressed commitment to positioning Maharashtra as a leading tourism destination with a stronger, more competitive hotel ecosystem.
