Etihad Airways has signed a strategic codeshare agreement with Taiwan’s STARLUX Airlines, enhancing connectivity between Northeast Asia and Europe via Abu Dhabi. From September 7, 2025, Etihad will launch daily Abu Dhabi–Taipei flights using Boeing 787s. The partnership enables seamless access to Japan and Europe, joint marketing efforts, and a reciprocal frequent flyer programme. The move solidifies Abu Dhabi’s status as a premier East–West transit hub.
