Kerala has invited bids from certified helicopter operators to kickstart its Heli-tourism project, aimed at connecting key destinations like Kochi, Munnar, and Thekkady in under an hour. Backed by a new policy, the initiative improves travel efficiency for tourists and pilgrims, especially to Sabarimala. With presentations scheduled for June 23, the state is set to build helipads and stations to deliver fast, scenic, and premium tourism experiences.
