Maharashtra is reviving seaplane services after a decade, linking Mumbai and Pune to scenic spots like Ganpatipule and Mandwa. This initiative, led by MTDC, aims to cut travel times drastically, boost regional tourism, and stimulate local economies. Utilizing amphibious aircraft and existing infrastructure, the project promises efficient, sustainable connectivity, enhancing access to lesser-known destinations and positioning Maharashtra as a leading domestic tourism hub by 2026.
