United Airlines will extend its Edinburgh–Washington DC service to nearly year-round, offering winter flights five times a week from October 26, 2025, to January 5, 2026, and resuming February 20, 2026. This move boosts Edinburgh’s US seat capacity by almost 10%. United, the only year-round US carrier from Edinburgh, also operates flights to New York Newark and Chicago O’Hare, strengthening Scotland’s transatlantic connectivity.
