SunExpress has declared the UK and Ireland a “vital” market as it reported a record €2.2 billion revenue in 2024, up 23% year-on-year. The airline, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, has nearly doubled seat capacity from pre-pandemic levels, offering two million seats across 13 UK and Irish airports. Seven of its 15 new summer routes originate from the region, reflecting surging demand for Turkey-bound travel.
