Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal launched cruise operations at India’s largest Mumbai International Cruise Terminal (MICT), part of the Cruise Bharat Mission. The state-of-the-art terminal, designed to handle 1 million passengers annually, boasts modern amenities and environmental initiatives. Sonowal also inaugurated the renovated Fire Memorial, heritage buildings, and the Sagar Upvan garden. The mission aims to transform India into a global cruise hub with ambitious infrastructure and tourism goals.
