Starting May 1, Southwest Airlines will begin retrofitting over 800 aircraft across major hubs including Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Atlanta, and Orlando. The upgrades will feature new Recaro-designed seats, extra legroom, and larger overhead bins to enhance passenger comfort. Crews will work nightly to retrofit 7–10 Boeing 737s at Southwest’s maintenance facilities.
