Turkish Airlines has added Ohrid as its second destination in North Macedonia after Skopje, marking its 123rd European and 353rd global destination. The airline now operates four weekly flights between Istanbul and Ohrid, enhancing regional connectivity. CEO Bilal Ekşi emphasized the route’s role in boosting tourism, business, and cultural exchange, linking travelers to the UNESCO-listed Lake Ohrid and the city’s rich Ottoman heritage.
