From April 1, 2025, NHAI has increased toll charges by 4-5% on national highways, impacting key routes like Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, and Delhi-Jaipur Highway. This annual revision, linked to wholesale price index inflation, applies to 855 toll plazas, including 675 public-funded and 180 concessionaire-operated ones. Travelers must now pay more for road journeys nationwide.
