Under the Vibrant Village Programme 2.0, 40 villages near the Nepal border in Uttarakhand have been selected for revitalisation. Spread across Champawat, Pithoragarh, and Udham Singh Nagar districts, these villages will benefit from development in connectivity, livelihood, health, education, tourism, and more. An action plan is underway. Earlier, 51 villages near the China border were covered under Phase 1 with 184 projects worth ₹186.16 crore already launched.
