Fiji has unveiled the MV Yasawa Flyer III, a $14 million, 320-passenger vessel designed to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. Built in Brisbane, the ship replaces the Yasawa Flyer II and is expected to serve over three million passengers in the next two decades. Beyond tourism, it will support local communities by improving access to schools, clinics, markets, and essential services across remote islands.
