The Holy Haridwar and Rishikesh

I recently went to my grandma's house, and there I had a great time with my cousins. We planned to visit Haridwar and Rishikesh. We had hired a minibus and then the entire family left for Haridwar.

As soon as we entered Haridwar, the atmosphere there was ever-changing. It seemed to me that we were in heaven, and God was present everywhere. First, we went to Har ki Podi; it was the Ganga ghat, where we all took a holy dip, and all our tiredness disappeared. Then we watched the ‘Aarti of Ganga Ji’ at 7'o'clock. It was the luckiest moment of my life. It was wonderful to see the big aarti.

We had booked rooms in a hotel nearby and stayed there at night. In the morning, we went to Mansa Devi by Cable Car. It felt like I was a bird flying in the sky and could fly. When I saw down from the cable car, the landscape was looked very beautiful, and all people standing down were looking like small ants, and the view of the Ganga river was so nice. Then the next day, we went to Rishikesh, and then I walked across the Lakshaman Jhula. I had taken some food for fish. When I was walking over the Lakshaman Jhula, I was dropping food for the fish, and it looked so beautiful when all fish were jumping out of the water to have it. There is also the Ram Jhula in Rishikesh, which looks quite similar to Lakshaman Jhula. In Rishikesh, Ganga's water flow was very high, which is perfect for rafting, so we all decided to do rafting. We all enjoyed a lot while rafting.

Soon after, we all came back to our home. These holidays were great for me, and I want to go there once again. Traveling on hilly roads was very adventurous for me, and I love that. One should just go there and spent his/her holidays in Haridwar and Rishikesh.
