Central India is witnessing growing interest in multi-day forest trekking experiences beyond traditional jeep safaris. The Pench Tiger Trail attracted around 2,400 trekkers in its third year, up from just over 400 initially. Madhya Pradesh Tourism and Indiahikes are developing new routes, including the Patalkot Gorge Trek and Satpura experiences.
