Bulgaria plans to redirect at least 50% of locally collected tourism tax revenue towards destination promotion, events and improved air connectivity under proposed legislative changes. The remaining funds would support infrastructure improvements. Tourism Minister Ilin Dimitrov said the initiative aims to strengthen regional tourism promotion, attract more visitors and extend the tourist season.
